cortez, I smoked through a half a tin of the Sillems you mentioned and for the life of me I could not get it to smoke cool and thereby didn't get much flavor. I tried it in different pipe shapes and sizes and none worked. I really wanted to like it because it was such a pretty flake with a great tin note and price was killer. What pipes worked for you and how do you prep it. I still have half a tin so if I can find the right combo it would be cool.
The blend that most surprised me was Peterson University Flake as I was wary that something with a plum top note would be too sweet for me. After smoking one bowl I new it was for me. The casing is done just right and the combo of Kentucky and Burley along with the Virginia's makes it one of my favorites.

H&H Eggnog was an aromatic that i wasnt sure about when i ordered some, but it actually tastes like the real thing.
Haddo's Delight was a Va/Per that really surprised me. I blew through a 2oz. and ordered an 8oz soon after.
GLP Maltese Falcon was a Latakia blend that also caught me off gaurd. Just a good solid smoke i ordered on a whim.

Cigrmaster, it was your accolades for University Flake when you first tried that got me to order some. It did not disappoint me one bit. Thank you for that.
