Yeah, honey smells delicious on that newminster 400.
McB plumcake, kuxury twist cake I agree with. Its only a few of the Lat heavy blends that I dont like the tin note of if its too early in the day...evening time makes it smell good though, something about the combination of a full stomach and mental space at the end of the day I think.
I would take the B flat over the A sharp anyday.
The other day I got my nose stuck in a tin of GLP Fillmore and seriously couldn't get it out... sensuously deep and delicious mature Virginias with a supreme scoop of perique... I must have sniffed it a full half hour before I even filled my pipe! And, thanks be, you can't get cancer from inhaling aromas, well, except in the state of CA maybe. Oh... and C&D King Cake!!! What a glorious sniffle-snorf that is!!! ::
Like northernneil, Cosmic, and too many others to name, any Virginia from McClelland. It's amazing. A close second is Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong flake, the tin note alone put it toward to top of my rotation of tobaccos, and smoking it is fantastic, too.
