Everybody waits sometimes.

Right now I am waiting for a few things:

- I am waiting to feel a little better, because I drank too much scotchquila last night with my brother for our joint birthday celebration

- I am waiting for Monday to bring me back down to earth.

- I am waiting for my wife to be done walking on the treadmill

- I am waiting for the Cowboys to finish losing

Waiting isn’t a bad thing! It’s just something we all do, and sometimes you can make it productive by practicing breathing, or other fun activities.

Tell me, what are you waiting for?
Scotchquila!?..... Oh man, you can't be feeling well. That makes me sick just thinking about it. Get ya some hair of the dog buddy. I hope you feel better

Not waiting as much anymore.
Spending more time "being" in the moment and that's made it all easier and smoother.
But I am waiting for that elusive state called retirement so I can live on my own schedule and not others.
Maybe then I won't be so aggravated by the clock changes and such......... :)

Last June we had a solar system installed at our house. This consists of 34 large solar panels and two banks of batteries in the garage that are each about the size of a refrigerator. Sounds great, doesn't it? Well, it would be if it were working. We have to wait for our existing power company to disconnect from our house so the solar system can be connected and the solar company become our new electric provider. Our current provider (Centerpoint Energy) has advised us they will not come until February. Is it just me, or are they stalling as long as they can so they can keep sucking on our wallet? :(

Nice set-up! I don't think Centerpoint Energy is trying to squeeze an extra dollar from you. They just don't care about you. You are going to be a x-customer of theirs and your priority level just went to the negative. They will get to you when they darn well please. No hurries on their part to help someone leave, unfortunately. Sorry to hear about your misfortune but congratulations on your new power supply.

Reading up right now about Friday's "malfunction" on the CME. I can only wonder what shenanigans are forthcoming!

Will certainly be keeping an eye on the charts as soon as the Asian markets open up about 24 hours from now. 📈
My financial guy just posted a video stating that there was a request for 400 million ounces of silver and it caused a panic. No other commodities were affected so obviously not a server malfunction. Supply issue. He is thinking triple digits soon.

Ok, here it is... the company we chose was:
Meet the #1 Residential Solar Installer in Texas - TriSMART Solar - https://www.trismartsolar.com/ and the system cost us NOTHING. If interested, you need to do some research to see if there is someone in your area offering a good plan and if you quality. Be careful, there are a lot of scammers out there. A close relative has had his Trismart system up and running for over a year and it has cut his electric bill by about half. Good luck. puffy

I'm waiting for the right moment to open one of those tins of Christmas Cheer I got ahold of, and to break in my new Peterson Christmas pipe.

What year tin did you finally decide on?
I got a 2011 & 2017, so it'll be the older one first. Maybe this week, maybe tomorrow.
It seems like my palate has been "off" and everything is just "ok" at the moment.
I'm concerned it will be a letdown.
I'm hoping it will be that something new that pleases me tremendously.
It's been a while since I've been amazed, and even when I am, I'm a little dulled by it by the time a tin is done. Perhaps because I try to finish open ones so as to not have "too many" at once, But, I guess that's what jars are for.
