Grilled some burgers for dinner. Weathers been great today. Just finished a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in my favorite pipe, the Savinelli Cumberland 806. Now I'm watching an older Batman with my boys.
Same spot, the rainstorm was actually only yesterday afternoon (just now coming up on 24hrs).
Crazy for sure, but I’ll take it. Much better for the horses than the high clay expansive soil we had in the entire metro Phoenix valley.
Yeah all three of my helpers Me, Myself and I got it accomplishedDamn, Paul, you have been humping it today........
I just sort of figured that you would point out to "the staff" what you wanted to do and they got all of that stuff done for you. I suppose with it being Sunday..... they had the weekend off.
BTW, the Altinay is gorgeous.. I have been looking at them last couple of days. I actually placed an order on one and there is some kind of glitch between the US banks and the country of Turkey so it did not go through. I will persevere......
BTW the rain totals here for September just hit 5 inches with more expected tomorrow. I hope yours are doing the same. Great looking horse today at your spread !

I’m with you but also it was nice to get it all done in one shot. I had intended to do it throughout the week but once I got started I figured I might as well grind it all out.

Looks like today may have been the last summer-like day for us. 85° today, followed by mid 60s for the foreseeable future. I'll take it!

Its Nightcap for the final smoke of the day in the newer Peterson 05 cobble, didn’t really feel up to burning the SH Baskervilles bowl of it.

We did get a good amount Friday and Friday night, supposed to get a decent bit tomarrow thur Tuesday night, so we’re good. Definitely glad the tropical stuff is staying at bay, dang sure want ready for that potential 20” of rain that they were discussing a day ago.

Progress on the shed siding yesterday and today, and this afternoon out for our last club race of the year. Barely any wind and only two boats finished (we were one of them). The 'Pelican' returned for the winter while we were ghosting back into the marina... A good day!

Halfway through my best bowl of Edisto yet. It’s a warm, still night out, and the fruitiness and sweetness are really coming out. I’ll finish the rest tomorrow — it’s dinner time!
Pipe: Altinok Meerschaum billiard, which I've de-caked a little with the power of spit, a brush-thing, and rotating my finger in the chamber. May or may not have removed a tiny bit of pipe from the rim with a thumbnail.
