Enjoyed three open face cheddar cheese, ham and double egg sandwiches, a bowl of fifteen bean soup, unsalted peanuts, a golden delicious apple and a small bowl of rocky road ice cream lunch. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaica Blue Mountain Dark Roast, neat, is my drink. Orioles and Yankees are in the 8th inning.

How do you like the Extra sweet? I tried it for the first time last night and I was a little underwhelmed.
I smoked it in a Rossi bent pot so maybe it needs a narrower bowl?

It's not bad but I prefer the Happy Brown Bogie twist. It seems like the extra sweetness makes the dark fired earthiness stronger, at least to me.

Some people are really going to like this one.

I'm going to try it with a nice scotch next. I think it will make an excellent pairing.

Now smoking year 2017 Esoterica Dorchester in a straight smooth dark brown octagonal paneled mid-60s-early 70s Corporate Era Barling 4945 London England T.V.F. billiard with a square shank and black tapered square stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo.

Got to smoke a pipe with my sister (mom posed with up with the cob). We smoked Dusk, she in the rusticated Pete 304 and I in the SPD 53. We are here spending time with grandma, who is on her way out. Lots of family and friends stopping by to hold her hand and say goodbye, and we sang hymns and prayed over her with the pastor yesterday. Really good to be able to spend a long weekend with the family.
