Hamborger Veermaster in an 1898 BBB Donkey Nut. I’m grateful Ryan took this project on.

Here’s a write up of the restoration.

That was a mighty interesting read on the restoration, Ash.
Your comments in the green bubbles were great.

I had Kendal Plug/Brown Twist in the commuter pipe commuting in the commuter car.
I definitely picked up a cold from all the hours cooped up in an aluminum tube and at gates in airports that I spent Tuesday.
Once I’m done with this concrete patch I’ll get some Zicam or something, but until then I’m treating my sore throat with 5Bros in the old WDC 1549-I think these bold birdseyes of burley will kill anything!

Looks like it's smoking

Congratulations. You are going to have a ton of fun getting him wound up and loaded up with sugar and caffeine before giving him back to his mom and dad. 👍

I never can help but notice the quite large sign hung in the local butcher shop back home. Right by the ring up counter it says boldly, "Unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy." Always loved that.

Time before the next appointment means time for a pipe, so...

Edisto in my Big Ben Ranger. I was a little underwhelmed with this blend for the first couple of bowls, but that was after a stretch of Gawith Virginias. Once I refocused on slowing the fuck down and guarding my pipe against the wind, the flavor and sweetness began to emerge.

I like Edisto. My tin needed to breathe a few days. You’re right, it rewards patience.

Near the first third of this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. M'lady and I fed all the cats. Tomato the Brave ate and went out right away after spending the night inside. Harry the Hairy slept inside, too, but he's stayed in. I fed Daisy the Feral Princess outside. Watching the Orioles-Rays game. Not raining right now, but it's not looking good for walking. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
