C&D Yorktown in a Vauen 2024 pipe of the year
Near the half way mark of this bowl of Wilke No. 78 in a full bend black pebble finish 2001 Rinaldo Lithos YY8 Titania Silver Line egg with a tapered black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed Daisy the Feral Princess outside. Tomato the Brave came in to eat his wet food, and wanted back out. Then, I let Harry the Hairy in to eat, and as usual, he only nibbled a little. I always wonder how he can be big and eat so little. Same goes for Daisy. They've been fairly sedate today.
Heeeeeey, I'm back! 
Finally completely over (I think) my illness, and *finally* getting my tastebuds back online after a lot of meds, etc. I'll NEVER catch up on the 100+ pages of WAYS posts I missed. LOL 
So, I'm easing back into things with a couple cigars the last few nights. Just need something easy right now.
Still waiting patiently for lower temps -- been mid-90s here in Texas during the day, and kind of muggy at night. We could use a nice 10-degree Fall drop!!

Last dinner of the trip. Tacos picanha paired nicely with Chenent’s Cake. The tacos didn’t make the photo shoot.
Did some low calorie snacking, and am at the first quarter of this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. I threw catnip balls and plastic balls for Harry the Hairy to chase down the hall and in the den. He wore out in the half the time he did last night. Right now, he's dreaming about no activity.
Coffee, RLP mixed with 5 bros. In a Morgan Arbutus. 
Now smoking year 2018 D&R Windsail in a smooth straight family era 1950s Barling 313 T.V.F. EXEXEL pot with a black ebonite saddle stem.

Today I’m enjoying my Nording Compass with some trusty Scottish Autumn Flake. What’s especially nice — here in China you can smoke in the hotel without any issues, and in general there aren’t the same strict restrictions on smoking. For us pipe smokers, it feels like true freedom!

Enjoyed a tasty red delicious apple, and am part way through this bowl of year 2020 D&R VIP in a 2004 smooth long shank Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 lumberman with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
My part of Alaska has been enjoying an extremely mild Fall and so there hasn’t been a lot of leaves to rake up yet. That gives me more rime to play fetch with my mutt on the front lawn and enjoy a bowl and a cup of coffee. Today it was Golden Days of Yore in a 60+ year old Kaywoodie pot.
Part way through this bowl of Wilke Back Bay w/o perique in a straight smooth brown circa 1950s-60s BBB Contrast 506 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I'll end the day with this smoke. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave are inside eating wet food. Harry the Hairy is on top of the cat tree, and only wanted a little attention.
