I’m currently in China, and of course I couldn’t leave behind my favorite Luciano Pease/Di Piazza Design Virgin Sandblast Chubby Dublin. This pipe has proven many times to be a reliable travel companion — light, comfortable, and full of character. Smoking it here is a special pleasure while

Year 2012 GL Pease Cairo in a Savinelli Noce 626. These are pictures of the pipe when it was unsmoked. I really like how the growth rings are swirled.

My first pipe in perhaps a year was a cob of Carter Hall. It was great, then over the weeks I had a few more.

I just smoked my first non-codger blend in a good while - Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake - smoked in a tall thin Comoys. It was excellent.
