@Ben.R.C - Happy Birthday. May the head cold be mild / short-lived and the smokes outstanding today.
On a side note, I was looking through some tobaccos on SP today and noted that their description of 4th Gen 1931 flake doesn't even mention the burley or black cav components. Odd, since i've always considered the burley component the most dominant.
Smoking Pipes:
[1931 Flake] strikes a natural balance in the distinct characteristics of steam pressed superior mature Virginias to please true flake lovers.
Tobacco Reviews and 4 Noggins use the same quote:
[1931 Flake] strikes a natural balance in the distinct characteristics of superior
burleys and mature Virginias by using a small measure of
black cavendish to please true flake lovers.
The Country Squire also uses the same wording as above and directly attributes this to a quote from Erik Stokkebye himself. Just thought it was odd that SP didn't mention anything but the VA and has it listed as a VA family blend when i've always considered it a burley blend.
