Enjoyed a tasty red delicious apple, and am smoking year 2018 Sutliff Walnut Match in a 1990s smooth brown medium bend briar calabash shaped Butz-Choquin Maitre Pipier JR Fait Main with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite stem. Almost time for Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave to have their wet food.

Now smoking year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I may end the day with this smoke. Taking a break from reading baseball box scores to feed cats.

I found a baggie with PS Peaches and Cream from 2014 and loaded my Kaywoodie Campus Apple.
The tobacco flavor is really nice. Not tasting anything aromatic.

This isn’t very good. I’ll jar it and give it a try 1,000 years from now.

If it just wasn't impressive i'd give it a go in another pipe or two that you use for that genre. Might find one brings out more of the blend that you enjoy than another. There's been times when i've grabbed a new tobacco to try and did this very thing only to finish off the tin in a temporarily dedicated pipe because it was the only one that made it enjoyable enough to smoke. In the end these tobaccos never get replaced, but at least i found a way to not waste a jar in the long-term.
