Now smoking KBV Verge Engine Santa Drive 2023 in a 1978 Peterson Deluxe 20S medium bend smooth dark brown billiard with a silver cap military mount black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Mariners-Angels game. Tomato the Brave came in for his wet food, thanked me, bunny kicked a catnip toy and went. It'll be time to let Harry the Hairy in after Sleepy Suzy eats. Molly Danger is in the bedroom.

Got the rafters up today, but not the purlins. Life's interruptions, you know? S'posed to rain all day tomorrow, but the weatherguessers are not all that reliable around these parts... I do love living here though; here's a pic from yesterday morning while waiting for the ferry to go to a meeting on one of the other islands:

Enjoyed some low calorie snacking, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Uhle’s 00 in a medium brown 1982 smooth slight bend straight grain Ben Wade Martinique freehand sitter with a wide top and a black vulcanite stem. Watching the Nats-Pirates game.

A third of the way through this bowl of Peretti Royal in a black sandblasted medium bend 2013 Mark Tinsky Coral 5 cherrywood with a smooth dark brown shank and bottom with a tapered black briar accented acrylic stem. Watching the ball game while I try to keep Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy apart from each other. Tomato's in the box that Sleepy Suzy was in earlier, and keeping an eye on Harry as you'll see in the photos.

Enjoyed a tasty red delicious apple, and am almost half way through this bowl of year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a straight, black sandblasted pre-1970 Comoy’s Sunrise Etched Grain straight Liverpool 309 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Tomato the Brave is snoozin' in the box. Harry the Hairy got bored and maybe tired of being scolded to leave Tomato alone, so he wanted out.

Now smoking year 2012 Carter Hall in an undated 1970s straight smooth dark brown H. Jones Ltd. Easy Loader (Dunhill shop made by Parker) 286 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in a while. I started reading baseball box scores, but I know Tomato the Brave will wake up soon and want to eat. I'm going to bring Daisy the Feral Princess in for her wet food.

Last smoke of the day is year 2000 SWRA in a straight smooth 2024 Peterson Red Killarney 264 Canadian with metal accents around the shank and a black acrylic p-lip stem. Daisy the Feral Princess ate and wanted back out. Harry the Hairy wanted in, and he nibbled a little. Molly Danger must have been hungry because she came to the den, and when Harry saw her, he got into a pounce position. I immediately picked him up and put him out. Because Molly is skittish, especially toward Harry, I'd have had to put him out anyway. Tomato the Brave finally woke up, ate, and just went back to the box he's been snoozin' in. He knows better than to mess with Molly and Sleepy Suzy. Suzy's been by my side for hours. I'm going to try to finish reading box scores.

Mario Pascucci -P Rust-2137 + Stanislaw - Scottish Autumn Flake is an excellent straight Virginia flake from the Four Seasons line. Long-pressed, unflavoured, with natural sweetness of honey, bread, and moderate fruit tones. It smokes smooth and cool, no bite on the tongue — strength is mild-medium. In the zip-pouch the moisture is decent, barely needs drying. One of those flakes you don’t just smoke — you savor.
