So very happy to be back home after working out in Vegas this week. Exhausting, cool and fun trip. Happy to be back with my wife and the dogs.

Well they sell it at Walmart in a can it's called "Skyline Chili" it's a blue can. Heat that up and serve it over top thin spaghetti, chopped ya a raw yellow onion up if ya want and sprinkle that on there, get ya some tobasco hot sauce sprinkle that on there. And then put a mountain of thinly shredded cheddar cheese on top. It ain't the same as it is in the actual restaurant but it's pretty close. Most people don't like it their first time, but the second time you'll be hooked for life.
I travel a lot for work and look forward to trips to Ohio and northern Kentucky so i can go by Skyline Chili and have some chili cheese coneys (small hot dogs) with freshly cooked fries smothered in ketchup and hot sauce, yum!! The chili is love or hate. No beans and seasoned with cinnamon.

HU Dark Moor in a blasted J07 and the usual horse pic.

Mama’s dad passed away a few hours ago, he was a good guy. At least she was just out there less than two weeks ago, and her two surviving siblings as well.
Never fun.

For clarity, I’m referring to my wife’s father.

Sorry to hear about your Father-in-law. Never easy. Glad she got to visit him recently.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cod and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a very early Ascorti straight New Dear KS billiard with a carved shank and a black acrylic tapered stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Daisy the Feral Princess must have read my last post because five minutes after I posted it, she was banging at the back door. I let her in the eat and play with a catnip sock. She been snoozin' near my feet since. Harry the Hairy was in for short while, but he and Tomato the Brave had a stare off, and when I broke that up, they both wanted to go outside. I'm watching the Phillies-Mets game.

It was a garbage day, has honestly been pretty miserable for the last month but I'm holding out till the bitter end for sake of the severance. Enjoyed some EMP in my ONE Anse on the way home earlier.

Got a promising job offer today and they're willing to wait on my last day in the current role! Wife and I are going to spend a couple days praying about it before I respond.

I also got the car mostly packed for camping with my son at Fort Pillow this weekend. Some other guys from our church are joining us with their sons too. This is the group that occasionally hangs by a fire with smokes at my place. Looking forward to a peaceful weekend with friends and no cell service. Gonna crack a 2020 can of Autumn Evening by the fire tomorrow! I'll take pics and recap when we get home...

Again, thanks for the kind words. My wife is plugging along, but texted me that one of her best friends, who was an instrumental mentor during the wife’s early recovery, was delivering an RV to Tucson today and is gonna come by, cook us dinner, and spend the night.
Just what the Dr ordered, so to speak, the timing of which made me ponder, “is it odd, or is it god”?

Feeding the horses because the horizon to the east looks like my last night on call this week may produce a call out.
Fribourg and Treyer BlackJack, nicely aged, in a little Eire System 31 before dinner.

Thank you! I waited a while for the right one to present itself… out of the mists of the Night! *dracula voice* Ah!

And while we’re at it, I, for one, love the setting of the fencepost-and-field that you have selected for so many of your pipe photos. Pretty much as good as it gets right there.
