Part way through this bowl of year 2018 D&R Windsail in an undated slight bent rusticated brown with a darker fumed top unbranded Micoli billiard with a white accented perpex ferrule, off center square shank and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Haven't smoked this pipe in quite a while. Just fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger. Cleaned the pipes I smoked since I cleaned the previous ones. Getting ready to watch the Braves-Cubs game.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am passing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2012 Virginia Spice in a 1979 brown grain etched Lane Era Charatan's Make medium bend calabash shape 483DC with a black vulcanite double comfort stem.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of KBV Verge Engine Santa Drive 2023 in a 1978 Peterson Deluxe 20S medium bend smooth dark brown billiard with a silver cap military mount black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem.

Currently, I have a third of a bowl left of year 2021 unreleased Sutliff Black Virginia Flake in a late 80's, early 90s James Upshall P DS Tilshead England Made By Hand L185 Canadian with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Tomato the Brave came in to eat, and decided to have a bunch of fun with a rope. I took a bunch of pics, but can't post but a few at a time.

Last smoke of the day is year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 2018 natural smooth medium bend Peterson 03 apple silver spigot military mount with a tapered black acrylic fish tail stem. Got behind reading baseball box scores because of Tomato the Brave, so I'll read the rest this afternoon.

Luciano (Pease/Di Piazza Design Virgin 2014) Sandblast Chubby Dublin + Stanislaw Irish Spring Flake — originally a collaboration with Samuel Gawith, later released as a standalone blend. It’s a Virginia/Perique flake of medium strength: natural Virginia sweetness, bready notes, and just a hint of Perique spice.
Pros: balanced flavor, smooth character, convenient flake cut.
Cons: Perique is more of a background note, so it may feel light for fans of stronger VA/Per blends. It usually needs some preparation (drying/rubbing), but my tin happened to be already nicely dried and ready to smoke right away.
Personal impression: I enjoyed the straightforward, clean taste; no topping comes through at all. A very solid mixture from this series.

I wonder if I could ask a cat question. I've always had dogs, so I'm kinda clueless with cats. How do you decide who gets "wet food" and who doesn't?
I do a mix of wet and dry also, but more wet than dry, it’s better for them as they don’t drink enough water and it’s a source of hydration. I will often mix a little extra water in the wet food to make sure they don’t get dehydrated. When I had dogs, they never had issues getting enough water. 🤷‍♂️

HU Dark Moor in a blasted J07 and the usual horse pic.

Mama’s dad passed away a few hours ago, he was a good guy. At least she was just out there less than two weeks ago, and her two surviving siblings as well.
Never fun.

For clarity, I’m referring to my wife’s father.
