Good philosophy for life.............Couple smokes since last post, blah blah blah in a blah blah…
Now at work, working on my jar of Odds and Ends in a Peterson DeLuxe 132, London Made over England with a vulcanite “Hand Worked” P-lip stem. Great pipe.
Mentally ruminating on how blessed my life is regardless of how much day to day BS may try to distract me from that incontrovertible fact.

Tennessee sure seems like beautiful countryside. I'd love to see it someday. Also, very interesting tidbit about the courthouse and creek!Had to make a trip to Charlotte, TN. which is only about a mile from my house. Had some junk to carry off. So,... I decided to channel my inner @Sobrbiker and take some pictures of my Comoys 185 as I drive. It is loade with Country Squire's Cowboy Coffee.

Ok, @gord would call this next portion, "Skippable Drivel." While in the little town of Charlotte, I thought I would give those of you who are history buffs something you might find of interest. This courthouse was built in 1830 and is the oldest functioning courthouse in the state of TN. During the Civil War, in early 1862 and after the fall of Ft. Donelson (40 miles NW of Charlotte) as the Federal soldiers came east to ultimately occupy Nashville, they passed through Charlotte and occupied it, as well. Tents covered the grounds around this courthouse and Yankee cavalry even rode their horses into the courthouse. Hoof marks are still there.
Also, just behind where I am sitting when taking this picture, is "Town Branch" a small creek. Federal soldiers found a southern sympathizer who refused to divulge information on other local southern supporters. They summarily tied a rope around his neck and dragged him to death up and down the creek.......

Back home and decided to take a photo of one of the pastures from this angle. Often, when I post photos, I am sitting on the front porch of the house that is way in the background.

Thank you, Larry. You are kind.Beautiful! You're Blessed.
Ok Mark, here's a silly question. I just got done with my deck and spindle railing. So with that pain fresh in my mind, I look at your beautiful property, what do I notice? That fence! Tell me about the fence, that must be quite the project painting it. Must take gallons and gallons, days and daysHad to make a trip to Charlotte, TN. which is only about a mile from my house. Had some junk to carry off. So,... I decided to channel my inner @Sobrbiker and take some pictures of my Comoys 185 as I drive. It is loaded with Country Squire's Cowboy Coffee.
