I haven't been keeping up with the ways thread and am way behind. I have been smoking Exclusive and Low Country Natural Virginia and Burley in the few pipes that I bought with me. We visited family in WV on Saturday and have been hanging out at my brother's place in Virginia. We are leaving from Knoxville and flying to Boston on Thursday where we will begin our family roadtrip through the Notheast.
If you are anywhere near Roanoke, stop by Milan’s Tobacconist. They have some fantastic house blends. Knoxville is in my neck of the woods, by the way. Enjoy your trip!

Had some Capstan Blue flake in my Peterson XL315.
I normally crumble the flakes up, but this time I did a fold & stuff. Really smoked nicely.

I really like the rustication on your Pete. The newer style looks like someone went at it with the end of a potato peeler. Apologies to Mr. Rusticater, no offense meant.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am half way through this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Getting ready to watch the Pirates-Orioles game.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Anniversary Kake in a smooth burgundy medium bend 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Smokes as well as a first and worth the $19.95 I paid for it all those years ago. Tomato the Brave having fun with the cat carousel. He finally wore himself out and is laying by my feet with a catnip sock under his belly.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Back Bay w/o perique in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Dublin Sterling Canadian 264 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. I heard Tomato the Brave snore a little on the couch. Harry the Hairy came in to eat, but he did very little of that. Attention was what he had in mind, and after he got that, he went back out. I fed Daisy the Feral Princess outside because she hasn't moved off that deck lounge all evening. Waiter service and private dining are among the perks of being a feral princess.
