Now smoking the last of my stash of Wilke 10 Downing Street in a 1990 smooth brown Peterson Irish Second Hungarian natural with a tapered black vulcanite fish tail stem. This pipe was almost blonde when I bought it. certainly worth the twenty bucks that I paid. Watching the Braves-Cubs while I rewrite and edit the MB/STG blends that I have been reviewing.

Was happy to find Google didn't lie about the holiday hours for my restaurant of choice this morning. Was a nice time in Galveston. Loaded up a bowl of Dockworker in the Ali cherrywood for the drive back. Made the hour+ drive no problem, even with some slowing traffic near the interchanges. Finished off the bowl in the parking lot and snapped the shot from the hotel window. It was coming down pretty good out there when i got back to Houston, so had to hide in the hotel and dry off. Nice and sunny again already. Southern weather, same way in FL. Thinking about hitting the sidewalk with a cigar...

Jockey, it sounds like you are having a great time on your trip to Texas. Glad it is working out so well for you.

Vegas Baby!!!
Every time I smoke this 1911 Pete I love it more. I’m always grateful to Ryan Alden for all of his hard work on the restoration.

Read about it here for a great view into the effort to save history.

Camden Yards is a great ball park. I've been there 15 times. Wish I could go with @PaulRVA .
I wish you could head up too.
I was there for Opening day in 1992
and a few times since. It’s one of my favorites along with Wrigley and Fenway. I hope to hit Citi Field next season. It was a lot easier to hit ball parks on the Company Dime before retiring. That allowed me to see Coors, Fenway, Fulton, Turner, Citizen, Rogers and Great American multiple times for the price of just the Ticket.

You ought to go to PNC park in Pittsburgh some time. A great place to watch a ball game.
