Enjoyed a Jethro Bodine size bowl of Raisin Bran with extra raisins thrown in and a big golden delicious apple lunch. I'm smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Hawaiian Kona Extra Fancy Dark Roast, neat, is my drink. Mets and Tigers are hitting and scoring runs today. It's time to clean a few pipes, and then I'll go back to work writing and editing the MB/STG reviews I've been working on. I rewrote the MB reviews, and will post both versions in a thread.

Vegas Baby!!!
GH & Co American Black Cherry in a Peterson 11fb PSB. I don’t dedicate pipes, but this pipe is dedicated to this blend.

This pipe smokes great but was engineered by someone who either wasn’t very bright or was deliberately not very bright.

It’s a sitter pipe, that can’t sit.

Was happy to find Google didn't lie about the holiday hours for my restaurant of choice this morning. Was a nice time in Galveston. Loaded up a bowl of Dockworker in the Ali cherrywood for the drive back. Made the hour+ drive no problem, even with some slowing traffic near the interchanges. Finished off the bowl in the parking lot and snapped the shot from the hotel window. It was coming down pretty good out there when i got back to Houston, so had to hide in the hotel and dry off. Nice and sunny again already. Southern weather, same way in FL. Thinking about hitting the sidewalk with a cigar...

I can’t decide on my 2nd favorite Pete shape, but this is my 1st. At the stummel, the heel, bowl and shank resolve to a profile that’s flattened a bit on both sides. The perfect grip. Peterson Original Sherlock Holmes. Peterson says: “The pipe was a tubular, almost trumpeting Calabash shape: an XL version of the 305(b) System first designed by our senior craftsman, Paddy Larrigan.” With Alan’s Inspiration.
