I was greatly comforted by my Saturday ZOOM pipe buddies as I recounted the sad passing of our beloved Thena, our 16-year-old Puggat (Pug/Rat Terrier). One of the other pipe friends also had to put down his Shepherd just yesterday. As we talked for a while about pets and their impact on us, I was calmed, heartened, and so thankful for this community of comrades.
We shifted our conversation to our more usual weekly chatter as I smoked a bowl of my "Dino's Balkan Blend" (2 parts 5100, 2 parts Syrian Latakia, 1 part McClelland's Oriental and 1 part D&R Yenidje) in my Rich Lewis rusticated calabash. My beverage was a berg-filled tumbler of Bai coconut water.
Again, the brothers and sisters of our pipe community are a wonderful and truly supportive group.
May God continue to bless you all.

A quarter of a bowl left of year 2000 SWRA in a straight smooth 2024 Peterson Red Killarney 264 Canadian with metal accents around the shank and a black acrylic p-lip stem. Fed Daisy the Feral Princess outside because she didn't want to come in, but several minutes later, she was banging at the back door. She's in and eating wet food. I let Tomato the Brave in, but he barely ate, went to the cardboard box, and looked around. When he saw that I was feeding Daisy, he went to the kitchen, and ate a little. Guess his last meal, which was a big one, was still in his tummy. Harry the Hairy nibbled a mite, and was in the den when he started a fight with Tomato. I had to put Harry out before it got worse. Right after that, Daisy went out, and Harry tried to start something with her. Daisy took a swipe at Harry, and ran off with Harry right behind her. Harry stopped running because Tomato wanted out, and he ran to the door to start trouble with Tomato. I broke that up very quickly, and Tomato jumped off the deck and went under it. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is snoozin' in bed.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2021 Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a slight bend smooth brown post WWII 1940s Sasieni Ivory 101 Westminster diplomat with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I'll end the day with this smoke.
