Kids are ACTUALLY sleeping in on a Sunday. Decided to sneak out to the garage and have a smoke with my coffee. Enjoying a bowl of Escudo as I listen to a mouse scurry around mocking me. I’ve got 5 total traps of three different styles stationed around. No luck. I must say, it’s a bit humbling to be, thus far, out-witted by a rodent. View attachment 337871

Use peanut butter for bait. At least in my neck of the woods they can't resist peanut butter. YMMV the old fashioned Victor traps work best for me for mice.

Got peanut butter on a few, bird seed on some others. The kids are always dropping snacks everywhere they go. I do my best to clean up, but I’m sure there’s a mouse-buffet of granola bar crumbs, goldfish crackers, and Lucky Charms out there! lol.
