@wilblee I think it would suit the King's Clay:) My favourite tin art is Sillem's Musketeer!
H&H has really been impressing me. I’m very fond of their lat blends - Black House, White Knight, and Fusilier’s Ration. The only non-lat blend of theirs that I’ve tried so far, El Niño, is also quite tasty.

I so wish I could’ve gotten ahold of a SJ Meer when they were available .
You’s is a marvelous looking pipe.
Thank you! I got this one on eBay. It was listed with an attractive “buy it now” and I jumped on it like a pit bull on a bit of steak. This was back in the early aughts. I’ve yet to regret it.

@wilblee A shame that White Knight & Fusilier's Ration contain Latakia as the Clay King perfers non latakia blends. Smoking Erinmore Flake in my clay at the moment; need to save some for the civil war event this weekend if I'm going. The Prince Rupert in Newark would be a good place for a pint and a clay:
Maybe take my churchwarden!

I went out side last night for a final puff of Lane 1-Q in the Peterson and suddenly there was a really loud horrific scream right near me followed by a grunting hoot ... it was so over the top I didn't have time to be startled and thought what the heck is that ! Apparently it must have been a Great Horned Owl in a tree directly above me or on the roof and was giving a protective territory warning. I felt much safer after that knowing that thing was watching over the property ! I extinguished the bowl and went to bed.
That must have been a pretty awesome experience. This is coming from a guy that's never heard a GHO before though.

@bluegrassbrian Looks like a Challenger or Camaro in the background. I used to like the Dukes of Hazzard when I was younger but it's considered racist / controversial now due to the flag on the car. It would have been fun if Barbara Bach (Agent XXX in "The Spy Who Loved Me") had made a guest appearance alongside her sister in the Dukes of Hazzard. I mentioned the Dukes of Hazzard with the American Civil War re-enactment group I met at the International Living History Festival this year as they had a Confederate Flag. I'm not racist; I think Asian / Afro-Caribbean women are very pretty & I like Halle Berry & Will Smith; I think they'd have made a good movie duo...

It’s funny, I think my first tobacco experience was chewing pilfered Man o’ War plug and smoking cigarettes with the older kids in the neighborhood in a storm drain much like this that dumped into the creek by my grandparents’ home in Indy.
Five decades later, I’m maintaining such for a living…

Is that an AND pipe? I've been eyeing those for a while now.

Waking bowl today was Cowboy Coffee in a Savinelli pot. 2nd bowl this morning, still before breakfast, is this small bowl of Virginia Squire in a Rad Davis freehand with coffee. Trying to get motivated to do the eggs and bacon.

The Meer is a Pipes Depot pipe which sells under Meerschaum Gallery on eBay. Great buying experience and a well constructed pipe as well.
