Capped off a very busy day with a single coin of Peterson DeLuxe Navy Rolls, in a Foyard rhodesian (I'm still in amazement over how perfectly one coin fits the chamber), paired with a vodka tonic. One last monsoon comes through in the 2nd half of this week...hope there's some rain along with it!

Bird report: American crow, White-breasted nuthatch, California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, House finch, California towhee, Mourning dove, Red-tailed hawk, California quail, and Oak titmouse.

Loaded up my favorite Ser Jacopo, a Picta Van Gogh, with some Watch City “Fat Bastard.”

I’ve never asked Ernie Q., but I assume the tobacco is named after the fictional character in the Austin Powers movies. It is a Scottish blend with Virginias, Burley, orientals, Perique and Latakia. The lighter is a vintage, small sized ST DuPont, which is a pain to refill since it takes a special butane stem.

A third of a bowl left of year 2016 D&R Two Timer in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. Finished this Archie story, and will touch up the pages tomorrow. M'lady fed the ferals earlier, so now it's my turn as she's snoozin' with Molly Danger.
