Two pictures today:
The first is a 1950s or 60s no-name second (probably from LHS or Wally Frank) from my dad, smoked with a combination of left overs stored in an equally old rubber lined tobacco pouch as an experiment to see how effectively it maintains the tobacco’s moisture level. Pretty darn well! I smoked a couple of bowls on a camping/fishing trip just on the edge of cell reception, so this is a late entry.
Today I experimented with a layered bowl of Middleton’s Cherry, Mixture 79 and Holiday in a 1950s Kaywoodie Super Grain large apple. It was a fun process to taste out the different blends as the pipe smoked.
