2020 Carolina Red Flake w/ Perique by C&D in a Peterson System Spigot 314. I remember this not being a very sweet blend for a VA when the tin was fresh, though I still enjoyed it for what it was. Opening this tin was one of the most amazing tin notes I've ever encountered. Just pure fermented fruits and tangy red VAs. Unfortunately, the tin notes haven't quite transferred over the smoke. That said, C&D tins are notorious for being a bit muted in flavor for me when first opened, so I still have hopes for those sweeter notes to come through. That said, it is sweeter than I remembered when fresh, and it's still a really nice, rich, full bodied, spicy blend for a VaPer, and one I'll enjoy regardless.

I don't even own an HT anymore but I still have a 2m All Mode and no antenna. Strictly HF for over 20 years.

I bought the HT to try DMR, but it didn't work well with my slow internet. I should try that again, now that I have Starlink. I like the HT for listening to the local hams, though: in our rural area, I get better weather and local news from the hams than the commercial radio stations.

But overall, for me ham radio means HF.
