I picked 4oz of bulk up earlier this year after seeing your affinity to it.
Tried some once or twice right off the bat and wasn’t too fond of it-seemed pretty rough and “meh” as I recall.
Dipped back into it a few weeks back after a couple/few months tightly packed in a jar. Now it’s become one of my go-to blends and it will be one I go deeper on for sure.
It definitely does better jarred up and with some shelf time and a little air exposure.
Every time I place an order I grab some more to keep the stock up.
If it’s out I’m likeIMG_4454.gif

While not a fan of the “DGT” (seems more like some tantric coitus intrerruptus BS to me), I also don’t like dumping a pipe I didn’t finish if it’s more than a third or so unsmoked.
Last nights’ McConnell Scottish Flake in the Sportsman 87.
@simong-I’m so glad you put this one on the market, after chamfering the tenon it’s become one of my favorites!IMG_2301.jpeg

Good day all! Update from yesterday: started with Elizabethan Mixture in a dedicted Upshall P Dublin and followed with GH Brown Flake Aromatic in a dedicated wee Tishead smooth Dublin. Today's start was Peterson De Luxe Navy Rolls in a Savinelli Autograph flame grain Billiard. Rummaging in the Ken Byron Ventures stash as I write ....

A third of the way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed all the ferals, and Sleepy Suzy. Molly Danger barely nibbled at dry food. The rain seems to have stopped a while ago, but the cloudy sky isn't encouraging for walks.
