an afternoon smoke of Orlik Golden slice folded in aCastello SeaRock KK lithe billiard
Smokes like a dream. I'm really happy with this pipe.
KBV BMP in a cob. Cafe con leche and a butt on the smoker.
Steamroller in the Regina Scarlatta 5 Crown bent billiard.
Pretty, and smokes well but likely my first and last Scarlatta.

It has a stainless steel tenon that attaches at the mortise, ala a "Scottie" made by Mrs. Piersel.
When I received it though, the tenon easily came out of the mortise. I saw no evidence on the tenon or inside the mortise of adhesive of any kind.
So, taking in to consideration the time and distance involved, I opted against sending it back for repair.
I epoxied the tenon myself and is working well so far.
The other issue is it's given me a case of "yellow hand" a few times. The stain (or maybe the wax?) will transfer to my hand after smoking for a while.
Neither issue is huge or even a deal breaker, BUT for a pipe of its price I'd expect no issues.
