I've been eyeing a Dagner or Poker for awhile, but don't necessarily need another pipe and the $30 entry fee for a cob gives me some pause.

How does it smoke? How does it clench?

Right now, I'm enjoying a bowl of CVP in a Howell.
Second round of Simply orange in a Jody Davis.
Just got done eating some stew and now onto a pipe. Having a bowl of LJP Thanksgiving in a Radice. This blend always makes me think about all the things I have to be thankful for. 
McConnell Scottish Flake in an old Trypis egg that I haven't smoked in ages.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and pinto beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm off to work with a bowl of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

I love that Trypis rustication. Pretty sure it's the thing that caught my eye when I bought my bent acorn.
It smokes as beautifully as any other MM cob. Although it's on the heavier side for a nose-warmer pipe, it's still easy to clench, less effort than clench a Country Gent or a Mark Twain IMHO.
My favorite cob for clenching is the Little Devil Cutty, but I reach for this one when I'm in the mood for a longer smoke.
That's the second time I've seen a Padron Serie 1926 today...I'm not too knowledgeable about cigars but hope to learn more. I may have to try one of those soon. Looks like they have some strong cigars in that lineup.
