My Markus Fohr clay seems to have a heavy staining and even though I clean the bowl with pipe cleaners, it still seems caked and the baccy tastes ashy even when I don't puff too hard. I'd like to stop puffing furiously on my clay. Don't want to clean it in the oven as it makes the kitchen stink if baccy...

Did a little snacking, fed the cats, and am almost half way through this bowl of Wilke No. 24 in a smooth straight brown 1949 Yello-Bole Century Model Lovat with a nickel band accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Working and listening to Fibber McGee and Molly.

My wife and I spent the evening at our neighbor's house celebrating his birthday. As we sat on the backyard deck with him and his wife sipping Kirkland's Tawny Port, he and I smoked some Partagas Shorts. A lovely evening.
