Smoking some no name Plug I found in my blazer pocket which was still sliceable, relatively fresh and surprisingly uncontaminated by pocket fluff. I've already posted pictures of my pipes du jour so unless you have been asleep since 2013 you will have to guess my pipe.

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Sunset Harbor Flake in a Hasty Blowfish

So first smoke of the Sunset Harbor Flake. I dont think i care for it. Im going to say it is really oriental forward. I dont taste any latakia at all. I know this is a balkan mix, but it has a very cigarette taste, which i can only assume is the Izmir. Ill give it a go in another pipe, but so far, no go.

Sir Walter Raleigh original in a LaRocca slightly bent poker with interlocking looping carving. I saw this pipe at Pipes By George, and I thought the carving was a little two folksy, but the idea of it followed me home. About two weeks later, I decided I'd go back, and if it was still there, I'd buy it -- it was and I did. It has a good deep bowl that gives a long smoke. I've owned it for about ten years.

Not far from finishing this bowl of C&D House Reserve in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a brown pearl acrylic saddle stem. Lunch follows this smoke.

This reminds me I have a tin of Sunset Harbor Flake from 2006 or 2007 in my cellar. I honestly remember if it's cellared because I didn't initially like it or it's cellared because I did like lol.

Slowly breaking in this Comoy Selected Straight grain from the 1920-30’s. It was unsmoked. Using Granger so the pipe knows I’m treating it like royalty.

OHM Turkish Red, burley based blend, in a straight tapered Tsuge "tasting pipe," which is a basic blast finish. It's a full-size billiard, which I picked up on a discount for about $40. It has the Tusge fit and finish, probably made for some promotion or as a house pipe.

GH Revor plug in a GQ bent billiard. It's the first time I've tried it and I'm impressed. I can see it knocking Condor Long Cut out of my rotation. Washing it down with an old-fashioned British cuppa.

Enjoyed a very tasty lunch, and am a couple of minutes away from smoking year 2013 FVF in a much cherished smooth, brown straight grain three quarter bend 1979 Becker M 4 heart brandy with a black acrylic saddle stem.
