Was reading and watching videos earlier about the naval tradition of wrapping tobacco in carottes/pricks, very interesting stuff.

2018 MB Dark Twist in the Johs canted bent egg (current favorite pipe). This blend is really starting to grow on me (pretty dedicated English/Balkan/VaPer smoker so it's been fun to branch out). Also, I got lucky and found a predominantly cigarette-selling smoke shop that had some pipe tobacco that no one has touched, so there are a number of tins that have a couple years on them already. Fun find. No Escudo though .

I've found that every MM blend I've tried was pretty good but American Patriot stood out for me as well.
