@Duck I enjoyed the St Bruno Flake in my clay pipe. However, I won't be buying it again due to the excess plastic packaging as the flakes were packed in a sealed plastic tray inside the plastic pouch.
I found an old St Bruno Flake tin on a flea market recently and feel the current plastic packaging is retrograde:-(
So no more St Bruno Flake for me...
I can understand that. My personal preference is for round tins or loose.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, perch and sugar snap peas dinner. M'lady made pancakes for her dinner, so I had a few for dessert. I've about a third of a bowl left of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching the Braves-Rockies game as I chat with George DiBos.

@Duck Since I started volunteering for the Don Catchment Rivers Trust I've become more aware of the damage plastic pollution is doing to the environment and re-use as much packaging as possible.
I've been getting my empty plastic bottles refilled and recycling non council accepted items through my local plastic free network.
We have a newsagents and tobacconist in Chesterfield that sells loose Gawith Hoggarth pipe baccy; I've given them a shout-out with Plastic Free Chesterfield!
It will be loose Gawith Hoggarth pipe baccy in my clay pipe when I start going to living history re-enactment again; I'll be using the leather tobacco pouch @Birddog66 sent me for my birthday this year.
Thinking of getting a rope lighter to light my clay pipe as well.

It's been a long week so tonight I'm rewarding myself with some Murray's era Dunhill Durbar in a pipe called a flower by its carver Minoru Nagata and a glass of 40 year old Classic Cask Scotch.

I love this pipe with it's simplicity of drilling but complexity of carving. It even looks like 2 pieces of briar glued together but it's a single piece.

Half way through this bowl of year 2015 Seattle Pipe Club Deception Pass in a smooth straight brown late 1930s Linkman’s Dr. Grabow Deluxe Bruyere 9708B pot with a nickel accent and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Going to work now.
