Butternut Burley mixed with some Sutliff Vanilla Custard in a brand new Peterson Christmas Sherlock Holmes Hansom smooth. I was a bit worried, because I had the dreaded off center drilling, but it smokes like a champ. Nothing to worry about!

Enjoying my weekend off and sitting in the cool shade of my carport. Fired up this bowl of Uhle’s 00 in a Kaywoodie Super Grain billiard. Discovered this jar after the move and I have to say IMO this is the best burley out there.

A Belgian Dubbel is my drink.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking J.F. Germain & Son Bridge Old Brown Flake in a 2015 Ryan Alden quarter bend burgundy sandblasted Queen of Hearts freehand with a black acrylic saddle stem. Been wanting to try this blend for some time, and a good friend generously gave me a nice size sample of it. Figured it'd fit this particular pipe, too.

PC My Mixture 965 match in a Johs blast slightly bent diplomat, with a polished smooth briar band. Alexa (smart speaker) is shuffling Leonard Cohen. Lefty, my gray long-hair Maine-Coon look alike rescue cat, is snoozing on my desk calendar, and the sun is in and out. I call Lefty the cloud of love, for his voluminous fur. My wife snipped a couple of mattes out of his fur today. He requires brushing he doesn't like.
