My long time friend, and one of the early comic book historians, Hames Ware, has passed away. Hames saved a lot of comic book history regarding lives and careers of creators that might have been lost to the ages otherwise. He was a great resource and supporter of my history writing. He was a very good man, and will be much missed by those who knew him.
