Peterson 3-P's in a Peterson unfinished slightly bent Dublin, otherwise often referred to as a zulu or yacht. The pipe is a recent purchase already taking on even, pleasing color. The blend is courtesy of a Forums member, a sample he picked up at the Chicago pipe show, a plug that I recently finished slicing and grating, a substantial and yet delicately proportioned blend. I would readily order another round of this, though I am a moderately smoker who opens tins at a glacial rate.

Started the morning with some H&H Viprati, followed up a bit later with some GLP Montgomery. For a rainy morning it was nice to explore the qualities of Perique and Dark Fired Kentucky.

Packed for later, McClelland 5100, some of the last few bowls, in a Nording zebra hunting pipe, long stemmed, a really fine gift from my wife. I bought some Sutliff Virginia Red yesterday for when this runs out. I have three other unopened tins of McClellands, so this isn't the last of the last by a long shot. Especially at my glacial pace.
