Now smoking Peter Stokkebye Bright Virginia in the first pipe Trever Talbot made when he went to France many years ago. It's a smooth straight Algerian briar Billiard bowl with a long Canadian stem, unbranded. Have enough left for one more bowl. A can of Faygo Orange is my drink.

Guys, bear with me for a longer post for this section.

I am back in the Tobacco Saddle again. I almost started off with a stogie that Scrooge sent. For God's Sake, Jim (Captain Kirk), I am a country doctor not a Connecticut Cigar smoker. Wrong. I look so forward to this as Connecticut Cigars were some of the finest I ever smoked.

Now, good and bad. I intended to try some Five Brothers in the Rhodesian that Scrooge sent. I picked up Smoker's Value Chocolate, which had the same color package. Scrooge was personal enough to let me know Five B was one of his favorites, so I will try it later, but here is what is soooooo wonderful: I guess it's a Rhodesian from the round stem. This pipe came in such perfect condition, and better: Its draw was so nice I couldn't overdo it. I could not taste the SPChoc the first time I tried it. Due to this pipe's "You Can'T Screw It Up" draw I was able to get so much more flavor even on a cheap tobacco. Now I know why you guys do spend more money on pipes.

I will get to the Five Brothers and other items, but my first smoke in days was so sweet. Even with the wrong baccy.
Those who hoped for my health, let me explain. On a good day I am only in bed 20-22 hours. Bad days, only trips to the bathroom. On good/wonderful days like today I am able to get around and sit up more. Sort of my own doing. They offered to operate on my back, but after three messed up neck operations, I'll ride life out this way... and be happy.
In reverse logic to another post, if you can't trust an MD with a big operation, run away from small ones, too.
Thanks for listening and thanks for being here and so encouraging. It's a wonderful day and I hope everyone is blessed... more so to those in Texas, Louisiana, and FL and all in danger's path

David
