Thats Awesome man. I bet that was a good time. Both times he was in St. Augustine, he was there for like 3 nights. Next time around though I hope I can get me some tickets. Last time I emailed the local radio station to get tickets but I never heard back from them. Lol I figured couldn't hurt. I won tickets to Elton John for my Mama one time calling a radio station. So it can happen. You should definitely go the next time he’s in town. I saw them in Grand Rapids and the last few songs of their set in San Francisco this summer. It’s quite a show but not really my style. I really like the single microphone part of the shows. The whole band is so good, especially Alex Hargreaves.
With that said, Billy channels Doc better than most I’ve heard and he’s steeped in the classics.

Taking out a couple of 1922s today - being Dad’s birth year.
Dad passed away on Wednesday, after a short illness (influenza), 3 days short of his 103rd birthday
I can’t recall ever seeing him with a pipe, but he smoked cigarettes for years - Players Navy Cut, Lucky Strike, Peter Stuyvesant, Benson&Hedges.
He stopped smoking in 1985 after a heart attack
So here’s to you Dad
So very sorry for your loss, Oz. I hope you are feeling some comfort from many happy memories of him.

Being a cigarette smoker, I thought Dad would be happy with the blend of Burley, Virginia and Cavendish in MacBaren’s Navy Flake
