A small flake of Sutliff 507-C in the Pete Pub pipe while pondering the pub pipe itself. It seems almost impossible to smoke this pipe wrongly; the tobacco lasts forever and there is so much airflow its perfect for slow sipping. I wonder if it might not be the perfect pipe for a beginner or whether it should be reserved for the more experienced smoker who finally gets it ? This is what I pondered while puffing. I think it may take several more bowls to reach and satisfactory resolution. ;) I was also pondering whether the Pub pipe is the perfect evolution of the pipe itself ??? 🤔

I resemble that remark!! 🤓

Paul, that sounds like a mighty impressive system you have installed. I doubt that they have that type of sophistication at Ft. Knox....

While your project may sound technical and might impress a lot of folks, I can match you, tit-for-tat for quality installations this morning. I actually put together a clothes rack for my wife. How do you like them apples?? :ROFLMAO:

If I told you about my security system, I'd have to plead the 5th. Seeing as how we don't have such a thing in your friendy neighbourhood Northern P....e State, I'm afraid you'll have to use your imaginiation. 😒

Botched my reply, which is contained in the text above. Probably for the best, too lol!!

Interesting perspective and shot. However, it does not escape my notice that even though that's a rusticated bowl, it has practically no signs of charring. Envious. How do you guys manage to smoke as much as you do without burning the bejabbers out of your pipes? Enquiring minds want to know.

Doesn't if feel great to have all of that firewood cut and stacked?? Not to mention the cleaned up tree.

You peaked my interest with the sheep hoof trimming. Is that a one person job and do you have to secure the sheep or do they passively let you do it?
Choatecav,

Yes, a lot of satisfaction in getting this task completed.

I run a small number of sheep each year on my little homestead. The
larger sheep ranches would use a shoot system that incorporates a trimming table to allow them to trim a larger number of animals.

I use what some call a “deck chair” to allow me to carefully trim hooves without hurting the sheep or me. I can manage it Solo, but with my wives help it goes really well. She helps calm the sheep while I get to trimming. Each sheep takes about 10-12 minutes depending on the condition. I trim before breeding in the Fall and check them again mid summer.
