Capstan Blue in this Peterson Deluxe. Diet Dr. Pepper. The afternoon had transformed into a beautiful and warm sunshine! As I am definitely solar powered, it is wonderful!
Now smoking year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar post-WW2-mid 50s family era Barling’s Make Ye Olde Wood Special 301 T.V.F. Made in England EXEL billiard with a tapered black ebonite stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. First time smoking this pipe. Just cleaned a few pipes. Tomato the Brave showed up after my last post, ate plenty, thanked me and went out. Harry the Hairy is in now.

2025 From Beyond in an MM The General
From Beyond arrived on Monday, but life has been too busy to try it. I knew I'd want a nice, long smoke, so I brought out The General (I don't need one of those new pub pipes. I don't need one of those new pub pipes.) and loaded it up. I smoked some 2023 From Beyond last week to compare. The 2023 version is very good, but I'm pretty sure that I'm going to love this one more. From first light it immediately seems more fragrant, more flavorful, spicier than the previous version. Occasionally I wonder whether it can really be this delicious, or am I imagining it? But no: it really is that good.

I only have a few pipes that smoke perfectly every single time. I had to pay a large yearly bill today so I got out one of those pipes to console myself ... my Pete Erica XL Hand Made with a Vauen Royal 9mm tapered acrylic 9mm stem (which fits the older large Petes.) I smoked Sutliff 507-C and the entire bowl was creamy honey lemon tea and bread all the way to the bottom. Everything is much better now.

Packed this pipe before lunch yesterday. But, my tree removal project consumed the rest of my day and half of today. All debris cleaned up, loaded and dumped off at recycle site.
The firewood rounds cut and stacked for next years wood.
I also trimmed sheep hooves.
Finally , I’m sitting down to relax.
