Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats except for Harry the Hairy. I refreshed the water and put down dry food outside, so when he does show up, he'll eat. Daisy the Feral Princess stayed in. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I’m smoking some 10 year old St Bruno in my Fermanagh grandfather’s beat up old Peterson 317. The front of the bowl was damaged from his wacking out dottle on the stone wall he used to sit on while passing the breeze with his cronies. I don’t know how old this pipe is but he probably started to smoke around 1905. In the sixties he switched almost exclusively to Falcons (probably because they were British!) I thought it appropriate to photograph the pipe with Swan Vestas and the Fermanagh plaid for the background. Happy sabbath.IMG_0862.jpegIMG_0862.jpeg

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Harry the Hairy showed up right after my last post. He ate and is lying on the floor. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' on the couch. Sleepy Suzy is by my side.

Great time at the Las Vegas Vegas International Pipe Show yesterday. It’s great having a pipe show that’s in my city. Thanks much to Brian. My MO is to try and find some vintage tobacco. A few years ago. I was able to get a 17 year old tin of Samuel Gawith Best Brown #2 which is magical. This year I got an original Dunhill tin of Elizabethan Mixture and a 2005 tin of McClelland Blackwoods Flake which I’m smoking now. I do love that ketchup! Room note is very pungent but Loki doesn’t seem to mind. IMG_6857.jpeg

Enjoyed three ham, cheddar cheese and double egg sandwiches with a bowl of freshly made tomato soup lunch. Dessert was a big and tasty golden delicious apple. I'm near the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaica Blue Mountain, neat, is my drink. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.
