Bought a tool today that I have never owned before. It's a pole saw. I have been working hard over past year or so to clear out and expand pastures to the fences. I had cleared out the lower stuff with my conventional chain saw but I could not get the high stuff so that I could run tractor and bush hog without getting a face full of tree limbs. This pole saw is just the trick. Then, I came through with the tractor and forks and got up the brush.

So,...... after all that work, I relaxed with some Orlik golden slice in my Comoys Dublin. Boy, it tasted good. It's funny how a pipe is even better after you have put in some worthwhile work. Sparkling water to drink...

It’s funny you mention a pole saw, last week my Mom called me and asked if she should buy a $60 pole saw at Aldi of all places. I told her she can just ask me to come over and I’ll bring mine. Lo and behold my pole saw wasn’t cutting because I had the chain on backwards, doh.
I’m going to make a shirt that says “I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m doing it anyway”

Lovin' this photo, Backwoods....

Now folks, this is how a real man loads his pipe! Throw the 'backy at it, pack the hell out of it and light er up!!!

Then clean up the mess.... but ONLY if you want to clean it up. If not, let er go.
Love it.....
I really appreciate that compliment Choatecav, I thought I was just in a hurry and being messy,,but now I’m looking at it in a completely different light! I am cool,

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, snapper and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've passed the half way mark of this bowl of KBV Mycroft Super DeLuxe beta in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a tapered dark tortoise shell colored acrylic stem. Writing beta notes. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Fed all the ferals. Molly Danger came to the den, and Harry the Hairy started to go after her. I got in front of him, and he moved around, and I had to grab him before he got to her. Dunno if he wanted to play or start trouble, but I had to put him out. Unfortunately, he's not getting the message.

A beautiful, breezy evening out back. About to light up some John Bull True English with more than a smattering of cigar leaf (Tampa Ybor City) in the DIY Li'l Chap. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍂

Real Ale "Commissar" Russian Imperial Stout (dark, dark, and more dark 🖤) 🍺

That is one substantial beer, man. My wife said “this tastes like bourbon and chocolate milk”
