Did a set of walking reps, and have a quarter of a bowl left of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Daisy the Feral Princess body blocked the deck step, and nibbled on my wrist as I rubbed her. Tomato the Brave was in the neighbor's yard under a shady tree waiting for me to finish walking. He got some scratching and came to the house to eat some more. He just laid down on the couch for a snooze.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. The last of this bag of Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink. Going to match meers to the upcoming C&D From Beyond blend for reviewing purposes.

Well Paul, as I read the results of the Dodger's game last night, I thought about how happy your wife must be on the victory. Also, I'm sure that you and @JimInks were astounded to see Ohtani do something no one else has done in the majors..... pitch six scoreless innings and hit 3 homers. Simply amazing....
Nothing Ohtani does surprises me. It was an amazing game that will always be remembered.

Gord,
I started using one of these a few years ago on the smaller flies, complete game changer. It's basically a glorified clothes pin with a notch that lines up the eyelet with a funnel shaped hole to pass the tippet through the eye every time.

Thanks! I'll definitely get one . . . . hopefully will work on tiny files. If not, I'll have to go to 12's I guess. Depth perception is my main problem as I've lost my right eye due to a series of strokes about 15 years ago. I usually can "feel" but the tiny eyelets on these flies are nasty for any guy with the fine leader material necessary to pass through the eye of the hook. 2 pound test is about the max, and tying tapered leaders is a pain. Guess that's why very few use 2 or 3 weight rods . . . . Any suggestions on how to change the weather? A trip to Amazon.Ca will be done today to get this neat gizmo (I'm a sucker for neat gizmos).

It's been cold, wet and miserable for quite some time. October is usually a fantastic month up here. I'll simply have to catch-as-catch-can and weather reports are as unreliable as the weather itself lately. At least I can road hunt hares and grouse! If a clear day is in the offing, I'll brave the cold in my zodiac next week however. I don't stray far in lakes anyways. Most fish are caught inshore in the weeds, no farther than 30 feet out from shore for the most part.

Salut!
