Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm part way through this bowl of year 2012 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching the Jays-Mariners game. Daisy the Feral Princess was banging at the back door, and she was followed in by Harry the Hairy. M'lady fed them in separate rooms and played traffic cop so I could concentrate on the ball game. After he nibbled a little on dry food, Harry wandered around the room and saw that nothing was happening, so he wanted out. When he left, Tomato the Brave came in, ate, thanked me, and was disappointed that the two spots he usually snoozes at were occupied by Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger respectively. He settled down on the floor next to Daisy, who is sound asleep.

They are great. Been forever since I've been to the brewery, but I do pick up their elixers from time to time. Always coming out with new, interesting stuff. Btw, love the updated profile pic, albeit scary as heck. Perfect for Halloween! 🎃
Haha man I remember trying their pickle juice beer a while back - what the heck!!

Thank you! It is of my dog Jelly Bean, the meanest dog in Navarro county. This is his “I’m so happy Mom is giving me kisses” face. IMG_2509.jpeg

Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Sleepy Suzy got up to eat, and Tomato the Brave took her warm spot on the couch. She's been by my side since. The lady who adopted Ringo, one of Sam the Scamp's scampers, sent me this photo to show how much he's grown since then. He's a year and seven months old now.

Our mild weather up in Anchorage is making this one of the best Fall seasons ever. Perfect weather to smoke a nice cube cut burley cherry aromatic I pressed about a year ago. Very mild and sweet during the first third of the bowl, then changing into a nice standard OTC type burley for the rest of the smoke. The pipe is an unlabeled (probably a 50s or 60s Wally Frank or LHS second) Red Root given to me by my Dad 30 years ago. My dog was good on the leash and it was a glorious couple mile walk.
