Passing the last third of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Lunch follows this smoke. All three ferals are back inside although I had to coax Daisy the Feral Princess into condescending to join us.

The high desert is drying out from the drench received courtesy of Priscilla. Late morning nice breeze on back porch. Mayan Blend coffee in the tumbler. Nording 925 filled with a relic from my cellar: Iwan Ries Kings Oriental. This tobacco is probably close to 20 years old and it’s comfortable as an old pair of slippers.

The difference between 27 and 67 is 40 years. The difference between 30 miles an hour and 25 miles an hour is guess what? 40 years. To quote Toby Kieth, “I ain’t as good as I once was. But, I’m as good once as I ever was”. Well, sorta almost…..

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated slight bend black sandblasted Lorenzo Elba Imperia 8636 egg with an amber colored acrylic saddle stem. Haven't smoked this pipe lately though I like its beefy quality. It's a clencher; not heavy at all. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink. Watching the Steelers-Browns game with Sleepy Suzy by my side. She seemed to enjoy watching me eat as much I enjoyed eating. Tomato the Brave is on m'lady's lap. Harry the Hairy is by her chair. Daisy the Feral Princess is still by my feet. Molly Danger is in the bedroom. I'm going to clean a few pipes.

In the garage printing cellar labels for a couple of samples I'm sending to a buddy on here. Keeping me company was a bowl GH&Co Rodeo loaded in my Chacom Prestige Billiard with a saddle stem.



Afterwards, and since I still had a couple of tins of tobacco to transfer to mylar bags, I decided to load up my Chacom Prestige Apple with a saddle stem with Sutliff 507c Virginia Slices for its maiden smoke.
