Celebrated a 100+ point Scrabble victory (lots of tile luck!) vs. wifey with my second-to-last bowl of a sample of GLP Horizons in my non-aromatic lat pipe, a Savinelli Bacco 321 rusticated bent author. Had to then cover the greenhouse tomatoes with an extra layer of plastic; the forecast predicts a low of 36, and they're usually off by at least a handful of degrees (to the higher end, naturally). Fingers crossed that I'll still have a crop tomorrow morning. 8/10
Bird report: Dark-eyed junco, House finch, California towhee, California scrub-jay, Band-tailed pigeon, White-crowned sparrow, Chipping sparrow, California quail, American crow, Mountain chickadee, Oak titmouse, White-breasted nuthatch, Hairy woodpecker, Northern flicker, Red-tailed hawk, Bushtit, Spotted towhee, and Western bluebird. Pretty much a full cast today.
Could get snow as early as Tuesday, and if that happens, it'll beat the record for earliest snowfall here by about two weeks. Stay warm everyone!

Errr...
@Sobrbiker you can just ignore that part!
