Before this year, Mixture was one of those blends that I smoked occasionally. I went through maybe 100 grams a year.

Just finished making a meatloaf and I have some snap beans on the stove simmering. Now I’m smoking some country mac and cheese and about to start mashing some potatoes and mixing some cornbread so my Father in Law can have a home cooked meal this week. The KitchenAid mixer paid for itself already this morning.

Thank you. Definitely the two features that had me pull the trigger. Plus, i once had another DC in the collection, a rusticated bulldog that i loved the look of, but for whatever reason, it just didn't smoke the blends i love well so i reluctantly let it go.
The new one is its replacement. And so far, it's excellent with the VA-based goodies, quite a different aesthetic, but i enjoy it and it feels great in the hand. Not to mention ample bowl size. Keeper.
