Did some low calorie snacking, and have about a third of a bowl left of year 2012 Virginia Spice in an unbranded '70s Charatan smooth Billiard with a black vulcanite stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in years. Paid twenty bucks for this pipe in 1981. It smokes as well as a first, and better than a few that I own.

Long day. Several appointments, but the news from the docs was very good. Happy to have the trip turn out to be well worth the expense, extended stay, hospital break outs and nurse dodging. :P

Capped this late night off with a bowl of Dockworker in the Pete Newgrange. Now for a few hours sleep and up to pack and cook the rest of the food in the fridge. Check out tomorrow, another early morning appointment and then a trip to the Museum of Fine Art before catching an evening plane home.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown undated Gesandt Canadian Made in England with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was originally owned by Poul Schluter, who was the Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982-1993. Sleepy Suzy is eating. Daisy the Feral Princess has been snoozin' near my feet for while. Molly Danger is snoozin' in the bed room. The others are outside.

Enjoyed a tasty red delicious apple, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of Wilke Little Round Top in a straight smooth brown 2017 unbranded James Upshall Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I should be able to end the day with this smoke, Tomato the Brave just ate, and is probably looking to play. That may change because I have to let Harry the Hairy in to eat. Daisy the Feral Princess hasn't budged an inch since my last post. Neither has Sleepy Suzy who is sleeping with one eye open.

@dottlejockey Fantastic news and great to hear, my friend. 🙏 You had quite a stint here in Texas, and I'm so glad you got what you needed. Safe travels back to Washington. 🏠

... "nurse dodging" !! Ha ha ha 😹

Couldn't sleep. Earlier, I smoked a bowl of Wilke Pickett’s Charge in a post-WW2 straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Dublin 3 bulldog with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.

Currently, I'm passing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 D&R Penhooker in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a tapered black p-lip stem.
