I just finished the Saturday afternoon ZOOM meeting with my pipe buddies. I smoke a Peterson Sherlock Holmes Strand (purchased for me by my wife, at the Peterson Grafton Street Store, during our 2002 Ireland trip). It was filled with 2015 Drama. Bai coconut water in a tumbler of bergs was my beverage.

More Bayou Morning Flake this time in the Cob of Cobs, walking with my lovely wife down the hill View attachment 421739

Well, it seems that you and @PaulRVA are "baseball purists" and watch it for seeing it well played rather than just rooting for a certain team or conference.

Down here in the south, college football reigns supreme and if three of the four teams that play in for the National Championship aren't from the SEC, then it is seen as dismal failure. :col:

Pound for pound, I think more baseball enthusiasts love it for the playing of the game than in any other sport.
somewhere in the late 2000s all the sports seemed to change. Rules changed these games are not the same anymore.. Baseball, Hockey, Football, and NASCAR and Basketball are my main gripe. I loved watching all of these and over time they've changed so much I don't enjoy them as much. Mainly Hockey, hockey use to be so much better. Then .... And I'm not gonna get into detail about this for obvious reasons, but a lot of these Sports got political. Which is the last thing ya want when watching sports. So I don't watch a lot anymore. I watch a little Golf but that's it. Sports died somewhere after the early 2000s.

This afternoon I smoked an Orlik Golden Flake in the Barontini 1/2 spigot bent billiard but for some reason despite slow sipping the pipe became very hot to the touch and I believe, the cake lining started to burn towards the end so I dumped the ash and let the pipe cool down. I'll have to sand/ream it and examine with a flash light. Perhaps too much cake built up on the bottom. But, this evening I had a perfect bowl of PS Luxury Twist flake in the Savinelli 2614KS with 6mm filter that was perfect and made up for it. Simply perfect.

Relaxing after a wonderful two plates of spaghetti and meatballs topped with cheddar cheese and a bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I've a quarter of a bowl left of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Earlier, we fed the ferals without incident. Watching the Dodgers-Phillies game.

Having another go with the newly opened Haddo's Delight, in the Chinese Canadian. It is already offering more!

Shed update: Finished with the siding and the sidelights today. Pretty much done now, except for a couple facing boards to cover the blocking at the front, and spray all the wood with borax dissolved in water. Good, cheap, easy, non-toxic treatment that the bugs don't like (tip from the guy who built my house).
