Now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Mr. Christian’s Brown Flek 2021 in a straight smooth brown 1950s Comoy’s Selected Straight Grain Extraordinaire bulldog 5 with a diamond shape shank and black vulcanite saddle stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. First time smoking this pipe. Had a hard time deciding what blend to devote to it. But as I've two smaller ones dedicated to Brown Flek, I thought a bigger pipe would be a good idea for times when I want to smoke it longer. David would have approved, rest his soul.

I'm not rooting for a particular team. I like things (and players) about most of the teams and just want to see good baseball.
Well, it seems that you and @PaulRVA are "baseball purists" and watch it for seeing it well played rather than just rooting for a certain team or conference.

Down here in the south, college football reigns supreme and if three of the four teams that play in for the National Championship aren't from the SEC, then it is seen as dismal failure. :col:

Pound for pound, I think more baseball enthusiasts love it for the playing of the game than in any other sport.

Anniversary celebration today, albeit cut short with an early dinner before the Yom Kippur fast begins. First smoke of the month was Mac Baren Black Ambrosia in my aromatic pipe, a Savinelli Miele 641 KS smooth bent apple. Wifey joined me with a cigarillo. I'd say that after 14 years, we get along pretty well...at least when we're not sitting in front of a Scrabble board. 9/10

Bird report: House finch, California scrub-jay, Band-tailed pigeon, White-crowned sparrow, Dark-eyed junco, California towhee, California quail, American crow, Bushtit, White-breasted nuthatch, Northern flicker, Mountain chickadee, Steller's jay, and Spotted towhee.

Happy October all!
Congratulations to you on fourteen great years. May you have 30+ more......

Amazing how fast a day can go from a nice cruise to a sh*tshow…oh well.
There’s many out there that don’t have a stable job to gripe about.
Grateful every day.
Head/chest cold almost gone, but the head part seems to be taking up residence in my left maxillary sinus.
No biggie, I’ll live but it’s got my “clenching bicuspid” sore🤨
Time to retrohale some 5Bros maybe.

Headed home with C&D Exclusive in the Sportsman 87.
