Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I opened the back door to call for Tomato the Brave to come eat his wet food. As soon as I opened the door, he came out from under the deck and ran as fast as he could, and as he came in, he "yipped" happily three times. I dried him off, he ate and after he thanked me, he stayed by my feet. Daisy the Feral Princess stayed in a heated cat house, Dunno where Harry the Hairy is, but he may be under the deck. Ice water and bergs is my drink. This Dodgers-Jays game has been very exciting.

Present to you probably the worst and fastest taken snapshot of a smoke I've done in some time, but I'm being invaded tomorrow morning and wont be back until the evening tomorrow and had only limited time.

Felt it kind of important to contribute to Meer Monday, on Monday itself. Yeah, not a true meer, but a dedicated meer lined Falcon bowl in my brown Bent Falcon. So I guess it qualifies. Tobacco was the only fodder that gets smoked in this bowl, Backwoods Buttered Rum, which is to my tastes, absolutely a stellar tobacco.

Best thing about this smoke is that I really had operational taste buds and it tasted grand. Not 100% but so much better than what I've been experiencing. Looking forward to being off meds totally in about 2 weeks. I'd love to return to the past in this regard, he said hopefully.

G'night all, and have a most excellent Tuesday.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am near the half way mark of this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Jim’s Special Flake 2022 in a black rusticated full bend 1984 Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. The Dodgers-Jays game is in the 13th inning.

Part way through this bowl of first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar family era Barling’s Make Billiard 6 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. The stampings suggest 1930s, but the “6” is a previously unknown stamp number as is its placement. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. The Dodgers pulled off a win. I told m'lady that Freddie Freeman would homer when he came up to bat in the 18th, and he made a clairvoyant out of me. :) The ferals were not impressed; they were too busy eating. All three of them ate more than usual, and then they wanted out. Guess the rain doesn't bother them, but maybe I do. ;)

Last smoke of the day is year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 egg with a smooth brown front and a black sandblasted back with a dark gold ferrule and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Just finished cleaning the pipes I smoked this evening. Sleepy Suzy was unhappy about that because there was no room for her to lay by my side while I did it. But, she's by my side now and purring loudly. The ferals are outside. Molly Danger is snoozin' in the bed room. I'm reading while this bowl lasts.

Mario Pascucci -P Rust-2136 (horn ring) + Navigator by G.L. Pease is a bold and deeply expressive blend. Red and bright Virginias combined with smoky Dark-Fired Kentucky and a touch of rum create a rich yet balanced flavor with notes of dried fruit and spice. It burns evenly, with noticeable strength but without harshness. For me, it’s one of Pease’s finest creations — a perfect balance of power and character.
