Relaxing after a wonderful salad, a rack of baby back ribs, baked potato, and pork and beans dinner with a banana split for dessert. I'm passing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Cleaned a few pipes, and am watching the Guardians-Yankees game.

A few minutes ago, Tomato the Brave wanted inside from the cold, and quickly went to his currently favorite place to snooze.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking year 2019 HU Directors Cut in a smooth slight bend dark brown 1940s-1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 228C prince with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Daisy the Feral Princess came inside to eat, and is by my side. Tomato the Brave ate, and is back in the comforter. Abner the Eager ate, and is hiding from the others to take a snooze. Harry the Hairy ate as well, though we don't let him inside. Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger are snoozin' on m'lady's lap over their favorite blanket.

Not to bore you with back in the day story but I was 11 when Hugo came through. I remember it being very bad even through the eyes of a child

Helene, a much different storm and experienced by my adult self, I hope to never witness this devastation again.

The 1940 flood was a doozy, according to my grandparents but the population in WNC was nowhere near what it is today so loss wasn’t near as bad.

Glad you made it and hope you get back to normal soon enough
Thank you BR, onward and upward, it’s the only direction that makes sense. I hope you and yours are ok.
