Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. Going to be on my diet for a while now. I've passed the first third of this bowl of year 2012 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching a documentary on Elizabeth Smith and her code breaking career. The ferals have been very well behaved today.

The Pipe: Sasieni Four Dot Viscount Lascelles S

The Tobacco: Well I was filling it up with Esoterica Dorchester and due to mistake in estimation, I only got the pipe 2 / 3 full, before the tin was empty. Rather than smoke 2/3 of a pipe, I topped it up with Daughters & Ryan Three Sails

So far I am tasting Three Sails but it seems sweeter .

Irish stout and a whisk(e)y chaser: there's a man after my own heart (though that pipeweed is a stranger to me).
Yes it is whisky. Bunnahabhain. The pub had recently installed the Murphy’s, so I was having it as an alternate to Guinness. The tobacco was purchased in 2017. On Boxing Day I sort of burst into the premises of Smoker’s Haven in Worthington, Ohio, mistakenly thinking it was a retail shop. I saw a door, it wasn’t locked, so I let myself in. Premal Chheda was there! Surprised, but gracious, he showed me and my big brother around his workshop and warehouse. It was fun. We rummaged through shelves, boxes, bags, and sawdust. I recall finding some vintage tins, Dunhill London Mixture and a 10-year old GL Pease Cairo as well as the Exotique. My brother paid! A Christmas gift. You can’t beat that! I don’t know how old the Exotique was when purchased, but I opened it Christmas Day 2022 and jarred the rest. I like it. It’s a lovely English and a sentimental choice.
